Ahmadinejad urges world forces to annihilate Israel. According to The Jerusalem Post, in a speech published on his website, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said the ultimate goal of the world's forces must be the annihilation of Israel. He said, "Anyone who loves freedom and justice must strive for the annihilation of the Zionist regime in order to pave the way for world justice and freedom."

Former Israeli spy chief says Iran should 'be very fearful of the next twelve weeks'. According to the Times of Israel, the former Mossad chief Efraim Halevy, hinted on Thursday that the moment of truth on Iran's nuclear drive was now imminent. Halevy, who is also a former national security adviser and ambassador, told The New York Times, "If I were an Iranian, I would be very fearful of the next twelve weeks." He later added that Israel's threats of military action had a certain "credibility" and "seriousness."

Typhoon kills 27 people in the Philippines and Taiwan. According to The Associated Press, Typhoon Saola, has killed at least 23 people in the Philippines, and has already been blamed for four deaths in Taiwan, with the toll expected to rise. The slow-moving typhoon spawning torrential rains slammed into eastern Taiwan and flooded farmlands, disrupting transportation and turning the normally bustling capital of Taipei into a ghost town. The storms forced over 180,000 people to flee their homes in the Philippines.

The Bible says in Zechariah 2:8, "For thus saith the Lord of hosts; After the glory hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you: for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye."

	Chinese police raid house church and arrest 17 people. According to ChinaAid, a baptism service at a Han Chinese house church in China's western region of Xin-jiang was raided by local officials and police who detained 17 Christians. More than 20 Christians, including the house church leader and those who were to be baptized, had just started gathering at the meeting site when two police officers burst into the meeting. Shortly thereafter, officials in charge of religion and domestic security protection took 17 believers into custody and held them until 7 p.m. The husband of one of the detainees was required to sign a guarantee that his wife would no longer attend the house church's meetings. Police ordered the church to stop holding meetings. Churches in Great Britain could face legal ramifications for opposition to homosexual marriage. According to The Christian Institute, a Government Justice Minister has admitted that churches that don't wish to conduct same-sex marriages could face legal problems. Crispin Blunt said it would be hard to guarantee that clergy would not face court challenges if they refused to preside over same-sex unions. Even though he said the government is "seeking to protect, indeed, proscribe religious organisations from offering homosexual marriage," ministers insisted that the controversial change would go ahead by 2015. Russia is sending missile defence system to Syria. According to The Guardian, a Russian arms dealer has said his company is shipping missile defence systems to Syria that could be used to combat international intervention in the country. An-a-to-ly Is-ay-kin, the general director of Roso-boron-export, said the advanced defensive missile systems could be used to shoot down planes or sink ships. He told the New York Times, "I would like to say these mechanisms are really a good means of defence, a reliable defence against attacks from the air or sea. If you are not ready, John 3:16 says "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
